I'm dragging hoses...and doing minimal weeding at 6am. Things are supposed to improve here on Friday. I hope! Poor Phoebe! She hates summer. Needs a haircut badly.
Closing up the house was the ticket. When I got home around 4 o'clock it was 95 F outside and 75 F inside. Tom came over and helped me install the air conditioner in the livingroom so Nick will be all set for tomorrow and Friday. After that it goes back to normal summer weather.
We had a power outage...so I couldn't even water the plants for a couple of hours....At least I had a couple of rain barrels to work with! I now have a pot of water in the fridge in case it happens again. At least the zoo will have water.
I'd say summer is coming in with a bang....
